WASHINGTON — U.S. vehicle security regulators stated Tuesday they are opening a probe into 50,000 Tesla Model X cars following receiving two complaints reporting front seat belt failures.
The National Highway Site visitors Safety Administration (NHTSA) explained the preliminary analysis addresses 2022-2023 product year motor vehicles about stories of failures of the front seat belt to stay related to the seat belt anchor pretensioner when driving. Neither incident associated a collision, NHTSA claimed.Â
