Blue Mountains bushwalkers found safe and sound pretty much a week soon after disappearing


Two missing bushwalkers have been discovered safe and perfectly soon after they disappeared nearly a 7 days in the past.

Alfred Zawadzki, 69, and Klaus Umland, 81, set out on a wander from a campground in Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains, NSW, on Wednesday.

They experienced prepared to return to the web site on Friday but unsuccessful to clearly show up with their absence increasing the alarm.

A lookup was introduced to locate the pair with worries escalating for their welfare.

The duo were being then identified close to Mobbs Swamp at about 1am on Tuesday.

The two men are currently being escorted out of the bushland with law enforcement saying they are in excellent well being.

They have been anticipated to return to Dunphy’s campground at about 6.45am.

Neither of the men have endured accidents but will they will be assessed by paramedics out of precaution.
