Subway Debuts Cadbury Chocolate Egg Sandwich in the U.K.


The Easter period means Cadbury Creme Eggs are everywhere you go — even your lunch meat.

This week, Cadbury U.K. introduced that the sweet take care of would be teaming up with sandwich titan Subway to make a restricted version SubMelt sandwich designed with Cadbury eggs.

Obviously, candy egg (and Subway) followers wondered what the twist was or if this was an April Fools’ joke — but it was not. The sandwich is literally just Italian white bread with melted Cadbury Creme eggs inside.

On Friday, absolutely free Cadbury SubMelt sandwiches will be doled out for free of charge (until materials last) at 4 spots in England (London’s Tottenham Court Highway, Liverpool’s Ranelagh Street, Swansea’s Peniel Green Street, and Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Avenue).

Of program, the sandwich made fairly a buzz on social media. Enthusiasts of both equally corporations have been bewildered about the exclusive sandwich.
