A cafe operator is unapologetic following acquiring backlash around her controversial task advert for a new barista.
Jekyll and Hyde Espresso Lab in Mudgeeraba, Gold Coast, has been searching for a new barista given that September.
Operator Georgina Rebecca Clothier initially needed ‘experienced baristas’ to implement but on Tuesday switched to calling for feminine candidates.
The advertisement was shared on the cafe’s social media web pages with numerous proclaiming the wording excluded baristas who do not discover as woman.
