An indignant Woolworths consumer has slammed its new carparks reserved for eco-friendly cars as ‘discrimination’.
Melbourne-primarily based photographer Matt Lawson shared a movie on Sunday of the inexperienced parking areas at Mernda City Centre’s Woolworths, in the city’s north.
In the video clip, Mr Lawson confirmed a Woolworths indicator in front of carparks marked out in green.
The indication reads: ‘Reserved Parking. Lower emitting, fuel-effective cars only.’
It then lists the cars that qualify to park in the spaces, which include cars and trucks that use five litres or considerably less per 100km pushed and hybrid and electric powered automobiles.
