Jesse Donnison and his pet Otto have been walking together Blackwattle Bay in Glebe when he noticed a dog toy floating in the drinking water.

But Mr Donnison bought far more than he bargained for when he picked up the ball, wondering he was heading to rating a free toy for his pet dog.

‘I just considered it experienced algae or one thing like that on it but then a tentacle popped out,’ he explained to NCA NewsWire.

‘As soon as that tentacle came out, I knew there was only a person creature it could be,’ he said of the blue-ringed octopus.

‘I dropped it really speedily, far more than anything I was worried about the doggy. Otto experimented with to get on to the ball quickly.

‘Lucky I even seemed and did not just chuck it for the pet to go and seize.’
