An 18-year-aged British gentleman has died pursuing an avalanche in Switzerland even though on a ski tour, area law enforcement explained.
Authorities are now browsing for a 2nd person who was also caught in the disaster early on Tuesday in Meiringen, in the canton of Bern.
The age and gender of the lacking person is not known.
The man who died in the avalanche was reportedly dwelling in Bern and was uncovered useless adhering to the catastrophe.
Police gained the report of the deadly avalanche around 4.25pm on Tuesday night, local Swiss media explained.
The avalanche occurred at the Gstelliwang ski slope on the Wellhorn mountain in the Bernese Alps.
A team of persons experienced been on the mountain skiing alongside one another, community media claimed. It is considered the two peeled absent from the team and created their way down the slope. The avalanche hit soon immediately after, burying the two.
