A human body has been identified in a creek around a busy Westfield purchasing centre in Brisbane as police declare a criminal offense scene.
The entire body was identified in Downfall Creek along Murphy Highway, around a Westfield purchasing centre at Chermside, at about 10am on Thursday early morning.
A Queensland Law enforcement spokeswoman reported they thought it was a man.
‘A member of the general public termed it in to us,’ she explained.
‘The region has now been declared a criminal offense scene.’
Investigations are continuing as customers of the public are urged to prevent the spot.
