Cop who slammed lockdown protestor to the floor at Melbourne’s Flinders Road station cleared


A policeman who overall body-slammed a lockdown protester at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic has been cleared with his scenario staying thrown out of court.

The incident, filmed by a bystander, shocked Australians and left Mr Peterson-English unconscious, with blood and urine remaining at the scene.

Barrett manufactured no comment when he left courtroom with his lover on Friday.  

In the meantime, information of the law enforcement officer currently being cleared divided social media on Friday.

‘When you see the total footage, it was a little bit extra than harmless ‘taunting’. Extra like abuse,’ a different wrote about the protester.
