A guy who mowed down an innocent university student following likely on the hunt for prankster youths has been jailed.
Oliver Donnellan, 47, left business management undergraduate Christopher German with major leg accidents right after applying his 4×4 ‘as a weapon’ when the sufferer sat on a park gate with friends.
He was jailed for 12 months just after getting found guilty by a jury of triggering serious harm by risky driving. He was also provided a a few-yr driving ban.
Donnellan, a former director of an IT consultancy, had flown into a rage just after two young adults with whom he experienced had a confrontation a week earlier knocked at his £350,000 semi-detached gated property in Over Hulton, Bolton, as a prank and then ran off.
The father of two gave chase, leaping into his Land Rover Discovery with his brother. He sped along a grass keep track of primary to Cutacre country park in Atherton, near Manchester, to obtain the culprits.

He was billed 18 months afterwards. Mr German’s father Martin told Bolton Crown Courtroom that the businessman had experimented with to portray himself as a well-revered upstanding member of the neighborhood – ‘but I know different’.
