Enthusiasts shell out tribute to beloved train station cat Hector who died after his heart gave in


A beloved coach station cat named Hector has died just after his heart gave in, leaving ‘thousands’ of adoring fans heartbroken. 

The cat, 14, turned popular immediately after he began roaming the platforms in Redruth, Cornwall, in 2013. 

Hector grew to become so snug wandering all around the station that he would generally welcome travellers right before they boarded, and go to sleep in the ticket business.

A article on Hector’s Facebook webpage mentioned: ‘We’re so sorry to say that Hector has unfortunately passed away, a person of his slaves manufactured it to the vets in time to say goodbye.

‘We understood he had a heart murmur and the vets believe it was his inadequately heart that however gave up. 

‘We will be owning him cremated and he will sit underneath his image permanently. Thank you so substantially for all the very well needs it is really appreciated.’ 

In accordance to the Metro, it is understood that Hector was 14 when his passing was introduced yesterday.
