A 61-12 months-old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a woman’s system was identified in marina drinking water.
Officers had been identified as just immediately after 10.30am this morning to experiences of a physique in the water at the Thames and Kennet Marina, Henley Highway, in Caversham.
A woman’s physique was sadly recovered from the h2o.
A man, 61, from Caversham, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is at present in law enforcement custody.
Detective Inspector Richard Pickering said: ‘We are in the incredibly early phases of this investigation, and although we have created an arrest, I would urge the general public not to speculate on the situations of the woman’s loss of life, which is staying treated as unexplained at this time.

‘There is currently a scene-check out in place at the location, and will be in place for some time though our investigation proceeds.
