Melbourne BMW hits bicycle owner on Princess Highway after seeking to slice website traffic: Check out the dashcam video


Dashcam footage has captured the horror second a bicycle owner was thrown from his bike following a BMW lower a lane and smashed into him. 

The 20-calendar year-old cyclist was driving alongside the Princess Highway in Melbourne‘s south in December final year when a silver BMW SUV tried to flip remaining onto Springvale Road and strike him.  

The footage, taken on December 18, 2022 but revealed on Monday, was from the dashcam of the car or truck specifically powering the cyclist and captured the actual second the bicycle owner was sent flying.

The BMW driver continued heading down Springvale Street, in the direction of the town, but inevitably stopped to go back and verify on the downed rider still left sprawled in the center of the fast paced intersection.

Victoria Police verified to Every day Mail Australia the BMW driver, a 66-calendar year-aged lady from Glen Huntly, was investigated by police and fined for failing to give way. 

The male bicycle owner, a Croydon South person, was taken to medical center for observation.
