A gentleman has died right after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a law enforcement officer in Northern New South Wales.
Richmond Police District officers were known as to a showground on Summerland Way at Casino, following reviews a guy had been assaulted about 11am on Sunday.
Police will allege when they arrived at the showgrounds a 48-yr-previous guy allegedly assaulted a law enforcement officer.
The male was arrested and taken to Casino Police Station.

A critical incident staff from the State Criminal offense Command’s Homicide Squad will now look into all circumstances surrounding the man’s dying (stock image pictured)
Though in custody, the gentleman became unconscious.
Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics tried using to revive the man however he died in custody.
A crucial incident team from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad will now look into all circumstances encompassing the man’s death.
The investigation will be matter to an independent review and a report will be ready for the Coroner.
