Adams, who according to The Tampa Bay Instances recorded 3 albums, two EPs and many singles, gave conflicting accounts to law enforcement right after Sims’ murder.

Adams went on trial in Tampa on January 23, billed with killing Trevon Albury and Daniel Thompson in November 2020.
