Yesterday, I documented below on the acquisition by international e-discovery company Expose of two other leading e-discovery corporations, Logikcull and IPRO, in a deal valued at more than $1 billion.
Nowadays, some of the personnel of those people acquired businesses started receiving layoff notices. A Expose spokesperson declined to supply the range of employees impacted, but stated that the vast majority of each companies’ staff are keeping on.
That there would be some layoffs was not unanticipated. In my report yesterday on the acquisition, I asked a Expose spokesperson whether or not all employees of both equally firms would stay on.
“As you know, acquisitions of this magnitude provide about modifications, especially when there are inescapable locations of duplication,” she answered. “Merging functions will clearly need eradicating some redundancies, but Reveal is dedicated to welcoming Logikcull and IPRO workers entirely on-board.”
One particular source explained to me today that the layoffs at IPRO were being widespread, but Reveal denies this, telling me that the bulk of workers are staying on. “For the bulk of Logikcull and IPRO staff members, we entirely welcome them to Expose,” the spokesperson claimed.
For those who have been laid off, she claimed, the business is delivering them with severance offers dependent on their tenure and with different outplacement methods.
