Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 stars in ‘Transformers’ Tremendous Bowl ad

You might’ve missed it if you tuned into the Super Bowl after the pre-match festivities were finished, but Porsche and the “Transformers” motion picture franchise are linking up for a new Autobot. The pre-Super Bowl professional that aired showed off a Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 named Mirage.

Porsche fanatics are possible by now watering at the mouth observing the Carrera RS 3.8 in any environment. The legendary product was a homologation special for the 3.8 RSR racecar and was only generated in quite minimal quantities by Porsche’s Racing division. Porsche created a ton of modifications to the much less excessive 964 Carrera RS to get to the Carrera RS 3.8, cementing it as a hall of fame-deserving design in Porsche record.

In “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” the Carrera RS 3.8 is painted silver with a blue stripe and seems to have the capacity to clone alone as a disguise mechanism. The several clips of action in the professional clearly show the 911 drifting, dodging boulders and heading off a soar. Porsche is seemingly deeply integrated with this auto preference, as even the title of the film employs the Porsche crest as the “O” in “Transformers.”

You could be wanting to know why the business attributes this sort of an outdated 911 and not a new product, but there is an simple rationalization. This “Transformers” film is set in the 1990s, when the Carrera RS 3.8 was a new design.

The trailer claims that “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is set to launch in theaters June 9.
