The most expensive destinations for overnight hotel stays in the United States, pre-pandemic and now, are Maui Island, the Florida Keys and Hawaii/Kauai Islands. These destinations also experienced the highest percent growth and absolute dollar growth compared to pre-pandemic levels among all of STR’s U.S. markets.
