Versatile workplaces huge IWG’s main govt Mark Dixon says the business office is alive and kicking but commuting is the “craziest creation of the previous 100 yrs” and there will be a further change in working styles where ever it is prolonged, inefficient and pricey.
He sees a change away from doing work in central business districts and that the winners will be people who have places of work wherever individuals reside, these as suburbs and smaller towns all-around towns. He also tips India as a development place.
He argues towns will have to reinvent, with coliving and local community space of all forms probably to shift into space that was places of work.
