USA’s victory over Canada in the Gold Cup descended into a mass brawl on Sunday.
The Stars and Stripes progressed to the semi-finals of the competition with a penalty shootout victory over their neighbours.
In a hot-tempered affair, USA went ahead in the 88th minute, only for Canada to equalise in stoppage time.
Both sides scored in extra-time, before Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner won the match for the Yanks in the shootout.
According to Marca, some USA players were not gracious in victory and taunted their opponents as they left the pitch.
Footage obtained by TUDN USA shows a mass brawl breaking out in the tunnel.
Turner appears to play peacemaker as players square-up to each other, before security staff intervene to break-up the clash.
The quarter-final was the second time USA have beaten Canada this summer after their Nations League triumph in June.
The Americans were also recently involved in a feisty encounter with Mexico in the Nations League semi-final.
Multiple players were suspended after a violent match which saw nine yellow cards and four red cards.
