Brighton mocked Wolves by tweeting ‘we haven’t scored for 20 minutes’ during their 6-0 hammering on Saturday.
The result left Julen Lopetegui with his head in his hands, just as it had appeared his team were safe from relegation.

There were fears Brighton’s season may fade away after they were knocked out of the FA Cup semi-finals by Manchester United, particularly when a 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest followed.
They made five changes for the visit of Wolves, but back at the AmEx, there were no signs of disappointment as Roberto De Zerbi’s side restarted their charge for European football.
The first-half saw them score four for the first time in their Premier League history, and there were two more after the break, with three players all netting doubles.
Deniz Undav, Pascal Gross and Danny Welbeck all found the net twice, and talkSPORT commentator Perry Groves couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“Brighton have played this game like an exhibition,” he said. “Wolves have got nowhere near them. No closing down, stopping crosses.
“This is an absolute embarrassment for the Wolves players, the manager, the fans.”
