The Royal Family have a rich history of being involved in sports and have been linked to football throughout their reign.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have attended many huge sporting events with Queen Elizabeth II heavily involved in horse racing throughout her life.
William is the President of the English Football Association as well as a huge Aston Villa fan, with Prince Harry reported to be an Arsenal supporter.
But who does King Charles favour? With his coronation coming up in May, talkSPORT.com answer the most important question of all…
Who does King Charles support?
King Charles is a Burnley fan.
He revealed the team he supports in 2012 when asked by members of the public at a reception at Windsor Castle.
Charles said: “A consortium of my charities, including the British Asian Trust, has been working in Burnley.
“Hence, some of you asked this evening whether I support a British football club and I said ‘yes, Burnley’.
“And people have responded ‘Burnley?’ Oh yes, because Burnley has been through some very challenging times and I’m trying to find ways of helping to regenerate and raise aspirations and self-esteem in that part of the world.”

King Charles is not the only fan to support a team in claret and blue with Prince William’s allegiances to Villa well known.
William has been going to Villa Park since he was a child and is regularly seen in the stands during their games.
His beloved Villans face local rivals Wolves on the day of his father’s coronation so he will have to miss a huge game for the occasion.
Not that he’ll be too bothered about that!
