Football news LIVE: Mahrez, Fabinho and Henderson set for Saudi Arabia, Newcastle agree Barnes deal, Onana to Man United

Here’s the latest transfer news this morning…

Man United will confirm the signing of Andre Onana from Inter Milan today.

The Cameroon goalkeeper was at Carrington on Wednesday undergoing a medical and has penned a five-year contract.

He is costing the club around £47million and will head to the US on Thursday to join his teammates on their tour.

Newcastle are set to close out a deal for Harvey Barnes.

The Magpies have agreed a fee with Leicester worth more than £35million.

Barnes has already agreed personal terms with Newcastle and will now undergo a medical before flying out to their US tour.

He will be the second major capture for Eddie Howe, following the £53million signing of AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali.
With Barnes arriving, Allan Saint-Maximin is set to depart.

He was absent from the squad for Tuesday night’s 2-1 friendly victory at Rangers and is set for a £20m move to Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are both Saudia Arabia-bound.

The Reds have reached an agreement in principal with El Attifaq worth around £12m for the sale of captain Henderson.

Henderson has already agreed terms with the team managed by former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard.

Fellow midfielder Fabinho is also closing in on a move to Al Ittihad.

Man City winger Riyad Mahrez is also heading to Saudi Arabia.

City have agreed a £30m fee with Al Ahli after Mahrez informed Pep Guardiola of his desire to leave.

Mahrez, 32, is set to undergo a medical today and finalise terms.

Chelsea are expected to make an improved bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

The Blues have seen a £70million offer rejected for Caicedo and are now set to make a revised move of £80m.

Brighton are seeking over £100m for the 21-year-old.
