Harry Kane avoids being sick and fights back tears as Tottenham star powers through Hot Ones challenge

Harry Kane was put through his paces in a different kind of way as he made his appearance on the Hot Ones podcast.

The Tottenham forward is the first English footballer to have appeared on the popular YouTube series which has hosted A-List celebrities including Ricky Gervais, Margot Robbie and Idris Elba.

But for those of you not familiar with Hot Ones, the premise is to get guests to eat increasingly spicy wings.

Kane dealt with things well in the beginning… but struggled as the ‘Wings of Death’ got more spicy.

After swigging some milk amid a spicy wing, he declared: “That is disgusting.”

Kane later complained of a runny nose before adding: “I feel like I can’t feel anything. It just burns everything in your mouth.

“It’s getting hot in here now.”

A lesser mortal may have spluttered or even been a bit sick but Kane cut a slightly tearful figure as he recovered from being hot and flustered.

The podcast revealed what Kane’s truly made of but didn’t reveal much in terms of where his future lies.

He’s been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs, with Bayern Munich and Manchester United the clubs mainly linked.

But the future of Kane, who’s been offered £400,000-a-week to stay at Tottenham, was not addressed in the podcast primarily directed at American viewers.
