Jurgen Klopp has said he hopes fans look back at Liverpool’s season and remember an iconic 7-0 win over rivals Manchester United.
Klopp’s side gave Anfield its most enjoyable day of the season on March 5 when they decimated one of their biggest rivals in a record scoreline for the fixture.

It was United’s heaviest defeat since 1931, just when the side appeared to be on the up under Erik ten Hag.
Liverpool ran riot with six second half goals, and headline signings Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo were both flying, suggesting an upturn in form for the run-in.
However, five winless games followed for Liverpool, ensuring that their season would end with just a Community Shield in the trophy cabinet.
Klopp was asked if he ever reflects on chaotic entertaining football like this weekend’s opponents Tottenham have provided, and gave an honest assessment.
“Sometimes I enjoy football,” he said. “I enjoy us from time to time but thinking back and thinking ‘oh my god that’s what we did’ that doesn’t happen really.
“I’m too much in the moment which is maybe a bit of a shame to be honest but I always thought I will have time for these things after my career.
“So this season, if we don’t do something really special, it will be remembered for the 7-0 against United.
“I hope people when they speak about it in a few years will look back and say ‘Ah it was the year when we beat Man United 7-0!’
“If they could say something nice on top of that and after that we still qualified for whatever, so that would be nice but if not we have to take that as well.
“We did what we did and for a long period of time it was really good, even this year we had some really good moments, but in general what we lacked this year was consistency. That’s what we have to change and that’s what we are working on.”
