Tottenham will have to try and bounce back from their heaviest defeat in ten years when they host Manchester United tonight.

Spurs were humiliated 6-1 by Newcastle at the weekend but they can revive their top-four hopes with the visit of the Red Devils.

The north Londoners found themselves 5-0 down after just 21 minutes and after the embarrassing defeat, interim boss Cristian Stellini was sacked with Ryan Mason taking over immediately.

Tottenham have now dropped down to seventh but can cut the gap to fourth-placed United down to only three points with a win.

Erik ten Hag’s men do have two games in hand and victory for them would stretch the gap to an almost insurmountable nine points.
