Lucas Paqueta song: What are the lyrics to brilliant West Ham chant as We Buy Any Car advert goes viral

Lucas Paqueta is starting to make a real impact at West Ham.

The Brazilian struggled to initially hit the ground running following his club record £51million switch from Lyon last summer.

But since the turn of the year, Paqueta started to show why West Ham smashed their transfer record to bring him in.

He has registered five goals and six assists in all competitions and fans are hoping he will be the main man in the Europa Conference League Final.

And Paqueta just might be even more motivated to impress against Fiorentina when he hears his new song belt out in Prague.

But how does the chant go? Well, to the tune of the ‘Just Sold My Car’ jingle from the adverts produced by ‘We Buy Any Car’, the lyrics are:

Along with Declan Rice, Paqueta will be key to West Ham winning the trophy and the Hammers captain recently raved about his new teammate.

Asked about his fellow midfielder, Rice said: “He’s incredible, honestly, absolutely incredible.

“It’s obviously taken him a while to settle into the Premier League and into the training ground, (plus) moving his family over.

“But I think now you’re seeing the real Lucas. Some of the stuff he does, even in training, it’s just mind-boggling how good he is.

“It’s just the confidence he’s got and the time he creates for himself on the ball.

“The confidence he has in his ability to beat players and do mad skills.

“If we (his team-mates) tried that, we’d have no chance. You’re starting to see the best of him now, so long may it continue.”
