A cycling race in Italy observed a chaotic ending when a horse ran onto the track in front of the leader.
The Strade Bianche in Tuscany saw the most strange of final levels when a giant stampeding horse bolted in entrance of leader Demi Vollering.

The Dutch rider was witnessed pointing to the camera motorbike in advance of her suggesting something was awry, and then the cameras picked up a horse at full pelt.
