WWE Backlash LIVE: UK start time, match card, live stream and how to follow – Bad Bunny hosts as Brock Lesnar faces Cody Rhodes

WWE will continue life after WrestleMania by returning to Puerto Rico this weekend for Backlash 2023.

The company is pulling out all the stops for its first major show in San Juan since 2005 with Grammy Award-winning star Bad Bunny set to host.

Triple H has successfully roped in the musician, who has impressed in crossover WWE appearances at WrestleMania 37, to front his continued international push.

Backlash will mark the first of three consecutive main roster premium live events to take place outside of WWE’s American home with Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia then followed by Money in the Bank in London.

The former may have now dropped its original name ‘WrestleMania Backlash’ but the purpose of the PPV remains the same.

Since its inception, Backlash has most often held its position as the post-WrestleMania PPV where fresh rivalries borne out of the events of WWE’s flagship show would be afforded the chance to develop.

Backlash: Date and how to follow

The event will be held on Saturday, May 6.

It is taking place at the 18,500-seat Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum – the biggest indoor arena in Puerto Rico dedicated to entertainment.

The UK is 5 hours ahead of Puerto Rico so it is expected that the card will begin around 1am and continue into the early hours of Sunday morning.

BT Sport Box Office will show Backlash on UK TV again at a cost of £19.95.

It can also be live streamed on the WWE Network – £9.99 per month for subscribers.

“Bad Bunny is one of the world’s most-popular entertainers and nowhere is that more evident than in his native Puerto Rico.”

Bad Bunny said: “In 2005 when I was a kid, I wasn’t able to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo.
