Canelo Alvarez and Conor McGregor have engaged in an explosive public argument on social media this week.
Boxing’s pound-for-pound star is feuding with the UFC feeling immediately after he posted a comparison of their defeats to Floyd Mayweather.

Canelo was outpointed by the American in 2013, while McGregor was stopped by him in their 2017 crossover bout.
On Monday, McGregor reacted to footage of Mayweather outclassing Canelo.
He tweeted: “One of the biggest performances in skilled boxing this was. I landed far more pictures on Floyd than Canelo. I’d appreciate a further go.”
Canelo replied on Tuesday: “I just require a single hand with you and I do not will need to toss so many punches.”
McGregor then fired back again: “Saul you raw rooster, I’ll stomp the ligaments out of your knee joint.
“I do not even need to have fingers to end you, I’ll kick you raw pink, go away you hunting like you ended up still left out in the sunlight far too extended haha freckle a***.
“I will see you and we will see. Canelo is a cornflake, no sugar.”
On Wednesday, Canelo responded: “You act like a very little child.
“You have a massive mouth and you know how to speak s*** perfectly, but when the struggle arrive you generally give up hahahahhahahahaha.”
McGregor concluded: “Canelo you are no draw to me, I do not check out your matches. Showtime gone so bye Canelo hahaha the Pauls out market you.
“Now expand some balls and battle for real cos no one cares about the exact same aged matter they have witnessed about and about. Or sit on the couch and wait for the true males to complete.”
