A higher faculty industrial arts instructor who has been charged with allegedly scuffling with a college student in the classroom has copped ‘countless amounts of verbal and bodily abuse’ about his job, supporters have claimed. 

Michael Kable, 62, was arrested on Tuesday night pursuing reports a pupil at Maitland Grossman Significant College, in the NSW Hunter location, experienced been assaulted in course about 2pm. 

Video clip promptly surfaced of the alleged classroom brawl where Mr Kable seems to toss paper balls at the student, say ‘come on mate’ and seize his collar.

The petition has attracted almost 300 signatures since it was set up on Tuesday night – about 60 for each cent of its 500 target.
